White-Lady Martini Rossi by Marcello-Dudovich
A fabulous Art deco illustration for an advertising poster by Marcello Dudovich, titled “Martini”. It features an attractive lady in a white dress wearing a wide-brimmed hat holding a glass with the Martini brand below.
Marcello Dudovich was born in Trieste in 1878 and passed away in Milan in March 1962. He was a painter, illustrator, and poster designer. Together with Leonetto Cappiello, Adolfo Hohenstein, Giovanni Maria Mataloni and Leopoldo Metlicovitz he is considered one of the founders of Italian poster design.
This Art Deco Poster was created for the Italian Vermouth, Martini; Martini & Rossi Distilleria Nazionale da Spirito de Vino, in Turin in 1847.
