This wonderful Zam-Buk hand cream display card dates from the 1930’s. This beauty advertises Zam-Buk hand cream featuring a glamorous image of a young woman with blond hair, blue eyes, red lips, immaculate skin and hands, set against a black background, with the attention-grabbing Zam-Buk logo at the bottom. The Zam-buk hand cream recipe goes back to the early 1900’s and included beeswax and oils of eucalyptus, camphor, red thyme and pine. The ointment was advertised as being effective against a wide range of conditions, including cuts, bruises, and sprains, ulcers, colds, toothache and amazingly, bleeding piles.
