The original Vintage French Poster was created by F. Hugo D'Alesi in 1899. F. Hugo d' Alesi  [Frédéric Alexianu] was a French artist and graphic designer , born in Hermannstadt ( Principality of Transylvania ) in 1849 and died in Paris 1906. He well known for the many tourist posters he created for railway, shipping, and automaker companies in the late nineteenth century.
